  • Education
    IBPSIA’s educational programs are designed to raise the professional standards of members by providing a diverse curriculum in technology and business. Besides the IBPSIA Certification Programs in technology and business, the association also provides 2 days of educational seminars during its annual conference and includes 2 days of participation in the world's largest trade show, BPAA's International Bowl Expo.

  • Certification
    Both the business and the technology segments of the Certification Program will continue to be offered concurrently.  Members may participate in one or both phases. Because each phase is a complete program in itself, members may begin their Certification work with registration for either segment. 

    Pro Shop Technology courses, Hands On Training (HOTS) and Advanced HOTS, are offered several times a year – check the calendar for class location and dates.
  • Information
    Information on products, services, techniques, ideas, companies and individuals is distributed by IBPSIA in several different ways:

    Pro Shop Operator : a bimonthly publication and its website;

    Website  www.ibpsia.com:  Potential customers can locate IBPSIA professionals throughout the world by visiting the associations web site and reading news articles;

    IBPSIA E-Net News: any timely news and announcements are sent weekly by email;

    Merchandising Trends: a monthly newsletter with news, general information, business tips and ideas.
  • Networking, Leadership
    IBPSIA members have a network within which to expand peer contact, mutual encouragement and problem solving through a website forum. With Certification Program classes and the annual conference, there are unbeatable opportunities to get to know your professional associates. IBPSIA also provides the opportunity for Regular Members to accept leadership roles and elective positions, and for all members to share one strong voice on issues of vital importance in the diverse and ever-changing bowling industry.

  • Special Offers
    Members receive special offers via intermittent mailings directly from the Associate Members - manufacturers and distributors - who access the IBPSIA mail list. Offerings are also made available by the Associate Members through the IBPSIA office such as the 2009 “Sampler Pack” Ball Program where members can purchase a high performance ball for only $75.  Other benefits include on-going discounts from Powerhouse, Office Depot, Express Merchant Processing Solutions (credit card processing), Grainger, Moore Direct, Sherwin-Williams, North Pointe Insurance, Gran Prix, Signature Funding, and more.

  • Annual Conference
    Regular Members are admitted to this event at discounted rates and there are minimal, or no, additional fees for seminars. Base admission fee entitles Members to participate in seminars and special events, as well as to attend the Bowl Expo trade show. Only Members of IBPSIA and the co-host coaching organizations are invited to special events. All members are invited to the Bowl Expo Trade Show.

  • Decals & Membership Cards
    Members receive a new, self-adhesive and easy-to-read window decal each year as well as a membership business card.

  • Logos
    Members are encouraged to use the IBPSIA logo on their promotional and business materials. Logos in electronic form (e.g. jpeg, tif, eps, etc) may be requested at NO CHARGE through the IBPSIA office or by emailing answer@ibpsia.com
